Learning about financial literacy is super fun! I get to enjoy what I am passionate about and that is teaching others and getting to know people from all walks of life. Your stories, struggles and successes inspire me to keep doing our mission – to financially educate every Filipino.

Being part of IMG opened my eyes to vital financial strategies. After attending the first seminar, I started to budget my salary and increase my cash flow by not relying on one single source of income. I value my health and life so much which are my greatest assets so I first started my investment through Kaiser Long Term Healthcare. It is a 3-1 investment that has long term healthcare, insurance and investment. Also, I deliberately choose what to eat and focus on eating healthy foods. Then I added to secure my future through MB Life MOST 18 insurance, build my emergency funds and invest in various mutual fund companies, cooperative and even in real estate.

I’m sharing these with you not to boast, but I plainly want to tell you that it is possible. It is possible to reach our financial goals if we are properly equipped with the right information and strategies. It is so important for me to share these money management and investment strategies with you because I want all of us to prosper and reach our financial goals for a better future of our family. We do not want our families to suffer. Growing up as a kid, I personally witnessed the financial hardships of my parents who are both public teachers. If only there was someone who taught them on how to properly manage their finances, maybe they were able to rebuild their financial strategy better.

I learned important financial lessons the hard way and I don’t want that to happen again to anyone most especially to my own family. As a newly-wed couple, me and my husband, Janu Love, intentionally learn together, plan together and apply the lessons together. Financial goals are achievable if we take the right actions. Now, it’s our goal to guide and inspire couple on how to properly manage their finances, invest for their future and build a happy life together.

We, my husband and I, believe that wealth should be a holistic approach. All aspects of life must improve and align to our great purpose. Acquiring more assets is not just our end goal but enjoying wealth with our loved ones is. Teaching the importance of financial education to our family, our kids and sharing it to others is a great way of leaving a legacy. One of our investment gurus said, “Anchor your life to what truly matters.” I cannot agree more. Let’s invest to what truly matters.
